Jackson Furniture recently announced it is expanding into Itawamba County’s Mantachie and Union County’s Myrtle, creating 250 jobs at the two locations.
Representing a $2 million investment, the facilities will manufacture furniture under Jackson’s Catnapper brand.
Founded in 1933, Jackson manufactures sofas, recliners, camouflage furniture, lift chairs, accent chairs, tables and rugs. While it does receive the leather and fabric covers from other countries, it is known for manufacturing products in America.
Jackson Furniture will manufacture motion furniture under its Catnapper reclining products brand and stationary furniture under its Jackson brand.
