Sunshine Aviation babies your aircraft expanding in Grenada with 15 new jobs
JACKSON, Miss. — Officials from Sunshine Aviation announces the company is creating 15 jobs while growing its aircraft painting, coating, interior and maintenance business, investing $50,000 in an expansion at the Grenada Municipal Airport in Grenada, Mississippi.
“When Mississippi’s existing businesses choose to grow their operations, it serves as a testament to our strong business climate and productive workforce. I wish Sunshine Aviation many years of success in Grenada,” Governor Phil Bryant said.
Sunshine Aviation will locate into a new 9,000-square-foot hangar which will be constructed for the expansion.
“We are looking forward to expanding our company in Grenada and we appreciate the support we have received from the city, the state of Mississippi and the local economic development organization in creating this opportunity,” said Sunshine Aviation President Jim Lamberth.
Mississippi Development Authority provided assistance in support of the project for the construction of the hangar. The City of Grenada and the Mississippi Department of Transportation provided assistance as well.
